Process Engineer: Implement operation strategy, and responsible for the safe and efficient operation of day-to-day batch processes. Engage and interface with process experts, chemists, engineers, EHS manager, training coordinator, and manufacturing experts. Oversee process safety requirements and implement flawless daily execution of production plan. Ensure resources, raw materials and supplies are available for unit operation.  Develop unit strategy into operating plan. Review daily KPIs and gaps with team. Planning of emerging needs and non-routine activities. Ensure effective conduct of operations system in place for flawless daily execution. Drive consistent and proactive improvement performance and provide timely and thoughtful response to escalation issues. Assist plant maintenance in achieving reliable equipment operation at minimum cost. Prepare monthly reports required to keep management informed on performance of operation, and improvements made.  Maintain information (files and documentation) for plant process, equipment, and technology. Develop basic data, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs); heat and material balances; and basic control strategies. Review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs. Train operators shift supervisors on safe handling and technical matters of the different chemical processes and guide the operations staff. Responsible for Stewardship, Quality, Reliability, and Employee Engagement plan. Perform and tally month-end and year-end inventory closing in SAP.  Develop and build customer relationships. Conduct Management of Change, Process Hazard Analysis and Pre-Start up Safety Review. Develop various EHS procedures like Car Seal Valve Management Program, SPCC plan for safe plant operations. Conduct Mechanical Integrity and testing of vessels and pipelines as required. 


Requires Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, or related and 2 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Chemist, Chemical Engineer, or related. 2 years must include experience with handling analytical equipment including Gas, FTIR, Karl-Fischer, Brookfield Viscometer, Zetasizer, and pH meters. 2 years must include experience running a startup plant and pilot plant.
